Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra Volunteer Kick Off a Huge Success!

More than 75 new and returning volunteers kicked off the 2007-2008 season with a fantastic dinner and a lot of fun. Kathy Copeland, Executive Director, gave a moving talk about what it is to volunteer for this worthy organization and how it really does change the lives of those with disabilities. DSES instructors who gained PSIA certification in various disciplines were also honored with the "Baribault Boost", a reimbursement program for volunteers who take their education to the next level.

There were many opportunities to sign up for training and to volunteer at upcoming fundraisers-like the annual Island Extravaganza on December 9th!
