DANIEL KERNER Discovers Rock Climbing

Daniel Kerner, 3 and autistic, explores the climbing rock at Mammoth Mountain's Adventure Center. Mammoth Adaptive Sports Foundation recently purchased numerous new climbing holds for the climbing rock. They are all different colors and shapes to help kids recognize which hold to aim for next.
These fun new bright holds help the visually impaired plan their attack of the rock. And the animals and other various shapes aid all sorts of deveopmentally delayed athletes in a successful route....now go grab the turtle, stand on the red letter B, hold on to the yellow worm...doesn't that sound like fun??
Daniel is smiling proof of a wonderful day of discovery and gaining self confidence at the climbing rock. Come to the Main Lodge and check it out!
